She completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2021 and now provides lactation and pediatric care at The Pediatric Center, LLC in Thomasville, Georgia. She has served as a committee chair with SELCA, committee member for the Southwest Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition, and has served the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition as Scholarship Committee Chair, Board Member. She currently serves as the Director of the EPIC® (Educating Physicians and Practices in their Communities) Breastfeeding Program at the American Academy of Pediatrics, Georgia Chapter, developing and delivering breastfeeding education to physicians, hospitals and health care providers across the state through a partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health. Claire serves on the board of directors of several breastfeeding and maternal child health organizations in Georgia and nationally.
